Ayr Post Office
The Ayr Post Office is a heritage-listed post office at 155 Queen Street, Ayr. It was designed by the Commonwealth Department of Interior and was built in 1936. This solid brick building with its traditional red, tiled roof and cupola was opened in 1936. It replaced the original post office building, which opened on 25 August 1883. It was added to the Australian Commonwealth Heritage List on 22 August 2012.
