Celebrating the abundance of water in our district, the Burdekin Water Festival is one of the longest running festivals in Queensland.
The Burdekin Water Festival celebrates the abundance of water in the region and is one of the longest running festivals in Queensland. The festival runs over a 3 month period with an Ambassador Program and associated events. The culmination of the festival ends with the Mardi Gras at the Ayr Showgrounds with floats, rides, games, food, entertainment and much more!
