The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is the auditorium of the Burdekin Singers and Theatre Company. The Burdekin Singers conduct 4 main activities during the year including a major musical, a debutante ball, a cabaret show and a theatre restaurant performance. The auditorium was constructed in the 1950s as the North Queensland Energy Board regional office but has since been refurbished and converted into a sprawling performance space with a large main hall, audition rooms and a studio for designing props and costumes.
