Located along Eighth Avenue in Home Hill, this display pays tribute to the pioneering families who shaped the Burdekin Shire before 1925. Beneath the melaleuca trees, memorial plaques installed in 1998 preserve their names and stories, offering a lasting glimpse into the region’s rich heritage and the resilience of its early settlers. Each plaque is dedicated to one of Home Hill’s long-established families, ensuring their contributions are remembered for generations to come.
