Cape Bowling Green

Cape Bowling Green is a truly remarkable spit which extends 22km into the sea. Located north of Ayr, it can be accessed via the small community of Alva, just 16 kilometers from Ayr. The spit is notably narrow, with much of its length being less than 1 kilometer wide.
