Alva Lookout

Alva is a small coastal town, just a 15-minute drive from Ayr. The township is dotted with holiday houses and permanent residences, with Lynch's Beach just a short stroll over the sand dune.

As you enter Alva, you'll find the Alva Lookout on the right. The lookout offers the best view of Lynch's Beach and is equipped with BBQ and picnic facilities. Capture the essence of Alva's serene shores through the picturesque tourist frame, perfect for an unforgettable photo.

A short walk from the Lookout brings you to Lynch’s Beach. At low tide, the beach is ideal for exploring, with plenty of small crabs, shells, and birdlife to discover. The outer sand bars create inshore lagoon areas that are popular with kite surfers on weekends. The beach is also a favorite spot for fishing, with many anglers proudly displaying their impressive catches.
