Winters in Queensland
Some say there is no such thing as a winter in North Queensland, with average low of 12 and highs of 26 degrees celcius we think they might be right. Between June and August is the perfect time to visit to enjoy the gorgeous weather.
If visiting between July and September you might also get to see the annual humpback whale migration!
Whether you are a keen fisherman or not, you have to visit during barra season and feel the exhilierating rush when you hook one of the big guys. Barra season is from midday on February 1st through to midday on November 1st.
