Eugene Pagotto Memorial Home Hill Canefield Ashes

The Canefield Ashes brings the excitement of T20 cricket to the Sugar Capital of Australia.

Celebrating 20 years in 2024, the Canefield Ashes is a T20 Cricket Carnival, held annually in honour of Eugene Pagotto, that is played over 2 days at the Home Hill Cricket Club.

The carnival hosts 40 teams from as far as Proserpine and Townsville and out to Charters Towers in four different grades to suit the social cricketer as well as the competitive cricketer and everyone in between. Saturday night features a 'Pig on the Spit' and live music at the Home Hill Cricket clubhouse with all welcome to come along and enjoy the night.

The competition has quickly developed into a great weekend of cricket, mateship and socialising while raising much-needed funds for the Queensland Cancer Council.
